AIDS awareness posters

Students learned about world AIDS day and art projects that addressed the AIDS crisis. They saw images of posters to raise awareness about AIDS and made posters to display in the hallways of their school.


Paper Maché Totem Animals

Students selected an animal that they felt a connection to and created it using paper maché. They make sketches of their animal, built the animal body, layered it with paper maché and spray painted it. Students made at least four colorful patterns on the outside of their animal that best represented the personality of their animal or their own personality.
